Fosco Fornio. "the shadow is free (la sombra libre)"

This project attempts to resolve the tensions between my shadow and myself. In a spirit of enlightenment I seek to free my shadow from what I see as a dependency on me. In the same moment I investigate what happens to me when no longer responsible for my shadow.
Jungian psychology proposes that the shadow can carry elements of the creative – could my shadow be more creative than me? Here is a dilemma; do I risk liberating it and losing my creative juice?
In the same way that light and dark coexist in a shadow, ignorance and knowledge must come together to inform my practice as an artist.
