Cities like to talk. They tell stories all the time. Sometimes they shout, you hear them right away and sometimes you need to be quiet and wait for them to talk. And if you talk back to them after listening to their stories, they tell you even more. About people, about things, about historical events, wars maybe or about a pigeon on the snow. Sometimes it’s about who they are and sometimes it’s all about you.
Project I am Here is about these stories. It’s an interdisciplinary conversation between three people and a city who likes to tell stories. We listen to each other, talk and then tell new stories together.
City talks, Selin takes the photographs, an urbanite writes the stories and Şahin paints.
We like to tell stories and now we are here.
