Most of the activities will take place in the neighborhood of Bilbao La Vieja – San Francisco. This is the area where Bilbao was born in the year 1300.
It is a working class neighborhood with a port, industrial and mainly mining past (iron mines). Currently in the neighborhood many immigrants and artists live there. The neighborhood has a lot of cultural activity. There are numerous shops and small restaurants and bars run by immigrants as well as new hipster-style restaurants and bars.

CMD San Francisco is a municipal civic center with a little theater, exhibit hall, library, etc.
The BilbaoArte Foundation is an artistic production center that offers creation grants at an international level and also has an exhibition hall and a cinema.
Okela is an alternative gallery run by artists located in a former butcherie.
Espacio Marzana is a commercial art gallery run by artists, located on the docks next to the iron ore loading docks.
